Working 60 hour weeks does not afford me much time to enjoy television shows or the distractions that entertain most pedestrians. Besides conversing with friends, my entertainment comes from the little things in life.
I'm quite observant & find humor in a lot of things that people overlook. The funniest things end up being the things that only I see & those that lose their luster when explained to someone else. However, one thing, during my hour- long ride home on the D train changed all that. Everyone in the car saw it & it just happened to be the funniest thing ever. I'll admit that it's pretty messed up that I found this accident funny but I did. A lady, gargantuan in size, enters the car. She sits across from me with a plastic bag,which she places on the empty orange seat next to her, & a baby carriage. She puts a blanket over said baby & goes to look for something in the plastic bag. When all of a sudden the carriage, with a heavy- looking red book bag strapped across the handles falls, WITH THE BABY IN IT! I laughed hysterically & nonstop. The baby seemed fine. Anyway, that was so funny that I got off at the next stop because my laughter was so uncontrollable. This is becoming quite common & I can't wait to see what happens next.
